Get ready for some exhilarating sounds from the underground! RUIN dropped on their bandcamp , yesterday the highly anticipated release of the single DAMNATION featured on “NEKROOTTINEN HAAVA,” a tribute to the Finnish death metal scene, featuring an incredible lineup of 20 international bands.


Among them, RUIN stands out with their ferocious cover of Impaled Nazarene’s iconic track, “Damnation.”



About the Track

RUIN’s rendition of “Damnation” pays respect to the original while infusing it with their distinct sound. The recording features an impressive lineup:

  • Spine on rhythm and lead guitars, contributing chainsaw-like riffs and haunting backing vocals.

  • D-Muerte unleashing a relentless barrage on drums, using unique props like coffins and an AK-47 for that extra edge.

  • MJS commanding the main vocals while adding additional guitar layers that enhance the track's intensity.


It has already generated a buzz within the metal community. Fans are eagerly anticipating what each band brings to the table, and RUIN’s “Damnation” is set to lead the charge with its fierce homage.
